Remove cover.
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release screw ring and remove level switch for brake fluid (2).

61 71 061 Replacing fluid tank for windshield washer system
Note. Drain fluid tank for windshield washer system Unscrew nuts (1).

Installation
Feed lug (1) into tab.
Press fluid tank for windshield washer system downwards until it is heard snapping into place.
Scheme 9
Disconnect plug connections (1).
Unlock hose (2) and detach.
Raise fluid tank for windshield washer system.
Detach hoses (3) and lift out fluid tank for windshield washer system.
Installation
Make sure hoses are laid without kinks.
Fill fluid tank for windshield washer system.
Scheme 10
Pull washer pumps (1) vertically upwards and remove.
Installation
- Coat sealing rings of washer pump with anti-friction agent.
- Replace sealing rings/strainers on washer pumps.
Turn level switch (2) approx. 90° in direction of arrow and pull out.
Remove cap and strainer for fluid tank of windshield washer system.
