Basic Setting (function 04)

Note. The air conditioning control changes with the 2001 to 2002 model year change. The climate control conversion on the Audi allroad does not occur with the 2001 to 2002 model year change, but instead changes in model year 2002.

  1. Connect VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST),Press buttons -0- and -8- to insert "AC/Heating Electronics" address word 08 and advance program until "Select function XX" appears on display.   2. Switch printer on via the PRINT button (indicator lamp in button lights up).
  3. Check DTC memory. See «CHECK DTC MEMORY (FUNCTION 02)»(/audi/s6/c5-1999-2004/remont/heated-glassdefoggers/#on-board-diagnostic-obd-hvac) and eliminate all displayed malfunctions.
  4. Erase DTC memory. See «ERASE DTC MEMORY (FUNCTION 05) AND END OUTPUT (FUNCTION 06)»(/audi/s6/c5-1999-2004/remont/heated-glassdefoggers/#on-board-diagnostic-obd-hvac)
  5. Check coding. See «A/C CONTROL HEAD -E87-, CODING»(/audi/s6/c5-1999-2004/remont/heated-glassdefoggers/#on-board-diagnostic-obd-hvac__ac-control-head-e87-coding) and correct if necessary.
