Special tools and workshop equipment required

  1. Trim Removal Wedge 3409

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to CONTACT CORROSION .

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

Pry off the cover for the -1- MMI screen on the corners using the 3409 -arrow-.

Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the installation frame.

Press the emergency flasher button -E229- -item 1- out of the installation frame -2- -arrow-.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following

Press the MMI screen cover into the mounting points until the clips engage completely.
