REARVIEW CAMERA SYSTEM CONTROL MODULE J772
The rearview camera system control module is located behind the luggage compartment right side trim.
If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault-Finding" routine.
Use the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 to do so.
Switch off all electrical consumers.
Remove the key.
Removing
Remove the right luggage compartment trim panel. Refer to Removal and Installation .
Remove nuts -1- and -5- (4 Nm).

Disconnect the connectors -3- and -4- from the rearview camera system control module.
Remove rearview camera system control module -2-.
Removing Retaining Bracket
Two retaining brackets are bolted to the rearview camera system control module.
Remove the bolts -5- (2 Nm) and remove retaining bracket -1-.

Remove the bolts -4- (2 Nm) and remove retaining bracket -3-.
Installing
Install retaining brackets first.
Installation of the Rearview Camera System Control Module is the reverse of removal.
Perform calibration. Refer to REARVIEW CAMERA SYSTEM, CALIBRATING .
