Removing
Pull the parking brake button to lock the electromechanical parking brake.
Vehicles with MMI basic equipment: remove the center console cover. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Vehicles with MMI comfort equipment: remove the multimedia system control head -E380-. Refer to Removal and Installation .
Release the retaining clips in the direction of the -arrows- using a 2 mm wire -2-.
Remove the access/start authorization button -E408- -1- from the cover -3- multimedia system control head.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following
Vehicles with MMI basic equipment: install the center console cover. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Vehicles with MMI comfort equipment: install the multimedia system control head. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
