DESCRIPTION & OPERATION
The power window system consists of a control panel, 3 remote operating switches, window motor, wiring harness and connectors. Mechanical components include a regulator, carrier assembly and typical window hardware. (Scheme 1)
The power windows can be operated at all times when ignition is in the ON position. When ignition is off, the power windows can be operated only when both front doors are closed. The control panel located in the driver's armrest operates all windows. The rear windows will operate only when the safety switch in control panel is deactivated.
All closed windows will automatically open 6" (150 mm) when opening or closing convertible top.
