Note. Height adjustment test is performed in the sliding position, meaning the panel is slid open and not tilted open. To achieve the best possible exterior optical characteristics, make sure that the adjustments on left and right sides are performed as symmetrically as possible. Measuring points for this are the radial runouts on the panel. Sunroof panel must not be higher than roof at any point at front or lower than roof at any point at rear.

1. Remove trim plate starting at front and working toward rear.
2. Pull off trim plate completely toward vehicle interior and fold it away downward.
3. Loosen Torx bolts for mounting panel.
4. Center the panel by dipping through several times.

1. Position panel at front and rear as shown in the illustration.
2. Drive sunroof closed from "opened" position (not tilted open).
3. Measuring points are radial runouts on sunroof panel.
4. Dimension - a - = 0 -1mm.

1. Dimension - b - = 0+1mm.
2. Arrow = direction of travel

1. Tighten Torx bolts to 4.5 Nm.
2. Install side trim plates.
