Condenser, removing and installing

Note. Condenser is available in different versions (e.g. with and without power steering oil cooler) depending on vehicle model. Removed condenser contains refrigerant oil which must be restored to the refrigerant system. --> 87 - AIR CONDITIONING

1. Drain refrigerant circuit: --> «87 - AIR CONDITIONING»(/audi/a8/d3-2005-2007/remont/automatic-hvac-system/#refrigerant-r134a-servicing)

1. Clamp both hoses to power steering oil cooler - D - and - E - e.g. using one hose clamp 3093 each and remove from condenser.
2. Disconnect refrigerant lines from condenser --> «Detaching refrigerant lines from condenser/re-attaching»(/audi/a8/d3-2005-2007/remont/ac-compressor/#heating-air-conditioning__detaching-refrigerant-lines-from-condenserre-attaching) .

Scheme 169

1. Disconnect connector - A - from High Pressure Sensor G65.
2. Remove bolts - B - and - C - (tightening torque 5 Nm).
3. Remove condenser downward.

Install in reverse order of removal.
