AWD CONTROL MODULE, ADDITIONAL WORK AFTER REPLACING
Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Vehicle Diagnostic Tester
Note. Perform the following only if the All Wheel Drive (AWD) control module -J492- was replaced.
Connect the vehicle diagnostic tester and turn on the ignition.
Select 22 - Replace Control Module in the vehicle diagnostic tester under Guided Functions in directory 22 - AWD Electronics
- Follow all the instructions in the VAS 5051 exactly.
Using the vehicle diagnostic tester, "adapt" the rear final drive, which was just installed, to the AWD control module.
Note. A system check takes place after 22 - Replace Control Module finishes. Use "Guided Fault Finding" to correct any malfunctions that may have been detected.
