Removing
If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided Functions". Refer to the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051.

Follow the instructions on the vehicle diagnostic tester display.
Open the luggage compartment right side trim.

Release retaining clips -arrow- and tilt the towing recognition control module -J345- -item 1- out of the retaining frame.
Disconnect the electrical connectors -2 and 3-.
Installing
Install in reverse order.
