Remove the lower instrument panel cover on the driver side. Refer to Removal and Installation .

Disconnect the connector -2- by pressing the release -1- up -arrow-.

Remove the bolt -3- and remove the accelerator pedal module downward.

Installing

  1. Tightening specification, refer to «ACCELERATOR PEDAL MODULE OVERVIEW»(/audi/a4/b8-2007-2012/remont/fuel-system/#fuel-supply-system-engine-codes-caeb-cala-ccba-sedan) .

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following

Engage the accelerator pedal module -4- on the bottom of the pedal bracket -1-, insert the centering pin -2- and tighten the bolt -3-.

Install the lower instrument panel cover on the driver side. Refer to Removal and Installation .

Perform after the first kick-down adaptation in Guided Functions vehicle diagnostic tester.
