Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Scheme 3

1. Torque wrench VAG 1331 or (equivalent 5 - 50 Nm)

1. Heed CAUTIONS listed above

Scheme 4

1. Slide battery cover to right - arrow 1 - and lift off - arrow 2 - (where applicable).

Scheme 5

1. Disconnect negative ( - ) terminal - arrow - from battery post.
