RADIATOR AND COOLANT FAN ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW

WARNINGRisk of injury from coolant fan starting by itself. Before working in fan shroud area, disconnect electrical connectors.

  1. Coolant Fan -V7- With coolant fan control module -J293- Removing and installing, refer to COOLANT FANS
  2. Nut 5 Nm
  3. Fan Rib Removing and installing, refer to FAN SHROUD
  4. Upper Coolant Hose Lift the retaining clamp to remove Connect to the radiator RADIATOR AND COOLANT FAN ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW
  5. O-ring Replace
  6. Radiator Removing and installing, refer to RADIATOR Change coolant after replacing
  7. O-ring Replace
  8. Lower Coolant Hose Lift the retaining clamp to remove Connect to the radiator RADIATOR AND COOLANT FAN ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW
  9. Bolt 5 Nm
  10. Nut 5 Nm
  11. Bolt 5 Nm
  12. Coolant Fan 2 -V177- Removing and installing, refer to COOLANT FANS

Scheme 2: CONNECT THE COOLANT HOSE WITH THE CONNECTOR COUPLING
Scheme 2: CONNECT THE COOLANT HOSE WITH THE CONNECTOR COUPLING

Remove the old O-ring -2- in the coolant hose -3-.

Coat new O-ring with coolant and install it in the coolant hose.

Press the coolant hose onto the connection -1- until it engages audibly.

Press the coolant hose on again and pull to make sure the connection is engaged correctly.
