  1. Remove the Audio-HVAC Display Module (see «AUDIO-HVAC DISPLAY MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(/acura/tsx/i-2003-2008/remont/entertainment-systems/#audio-system__audio-hvac-display-module-removalinstallation) ).
  2. Remove the two mounting screws.
  3. Disconnect the 10P connector (A) from the clock (B).
  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  1. Remove the audio-HVAC display module (see «AUDIO-HVAC DISPLAY MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(/acura/tsx/i-2003-2008/remont/entertainment-systems/#audio-system__audio-hvac-display-module-removalinstallation) ).
  2. Remove the clock (see «REPLACEMENT»(/acura/tsx/i-2003-2008/remont/gauges-instrument-panels/#clock) ).
  3. Check the connections at the clock 10P connector and audio-HVAC display panel connector C (10P). Are the connectors and terminals connected properly? YES - Go to step 4. NO - Repair the connection and recheck.
  4. Check for continuity between the clock 10P connector and the audio-HVAC display panel connector C (10P) terminals for each wire listed in the chart. CONNECTOR TERMINAL REFERENCE Wire Clock 10P connector terminal Audio-HVAC display panel connector C (10P) terminal BLU/ORN (1) BLU (2) 2 2 YEL/RED (1) YEL (2) 4 4 YEL (1) PUR (2) 5 5 BLU/RED (1) ORN (2) 6 6 BLU 7 7 GRY 8 8 BLK 1 1 RED 9 9 GRN 10 10 BLK 3 (body ground) (1) '04 model (2) '05-08 models Is there continuity? YES - Go to step 5. NO - Repair the open in the wire between the audio-HVAC display panel and the clock.
  5. Check for continuity between each clock 10P connector terminal and body ground. CONNECTOR TERMINAL REFERENCE Wire Clock 10P connector terminal BLU/ORN (1) 2 BLU (2) YEL/RED (1) 4 YEL (2) YEL (1) 5 PUR (2) BLU/RED (1) 6 ORN (2) BLU 7 GRY 8 BLK 1 RED 9 GRN 10 BLK 3 (1) '04 model (2) '05-08 models Is there continuity? YES - Repair the short to ground in the wire between the audio-HVAC display panel and the clock. NO - Go to step 6.
  6. Substitute a known-good clock and recheck. Is the clock normal? YES - Replace the original clock. NO - Substitute a known-good audio-HVAC display panel and retest. If the problem is gone, replace the original audio-HVAC display panel.
