  1. Remove the dashboard lower cover (see «DRIVER'S DASHBOARD LOWER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(/acura/rsx/i-2001-2004/remont/exteriorinterior-trim/#dashboard) )
  2. Disconnect the 5P connector from the under-dash fuse/relay box.
  3. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.
  4. If the continuity checks do not agree with the table, replace the steering lock assembly (see «STEERING LOCK REPLACEMENT»(/acura/rsx/i-2001-2004/remont/manual-power-steering/#power-steering-system) ).
