Starting - Service Information: Removal & Installation Dodge Dart PF

INSTALLATION

  1. Position the RF Hub (1) to the vehicle and install the retainers.
  2. If equipped, connect the remote start antenna connector (3).
  3. Connect the electrical connectors.
  4. Install the rear shelf panel. Refer to «PANEL, REAR SHELF, INSTALLATION»(ref-646233-S27946043022014072800000) .
  5. Connect the battery.
  6. Connect the scan tool to the vehicle.
  7. Perform the "Programming the RF-Hub" instructions. Refer to «STANDARD PROCEDURE»(ref-646224-S05214180092014072800000) .
  8. After programming the FOBIKs and the module, install the rear shelf cover. Refer to «PANEL, REAR SHELF, INSTALLATION»(ref-646233-S27946043022014072800000) .
  9. Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to «STANDARD PROCEDURE»(ref-646248-S24006549342014072800000) .

Note. Replace and Program the module(s) per the "RF-Hub, BCM, PCM, FOBik and ELV Replacement and Programming Order Guide". Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .

Note. If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to align the PROXI configuration data into the new ECU. Follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu.
